Elegy for a tree

A lonely, terminally ill woman arrives in a small village with one wish - to buy a tree from the orchard. All circumstances are against her - the owner is away, his wife is pregnant and barely agrees to help her. After much choosing, the elderly woman settles on a fifteen-year-old linden. And again a strange wish. Let the tree stay in its place. It will be the only thing left after her death.
